Important: If you are arriving prior to 2pm, we suggest packing a change of clothes / bathers in your hand luggage, so that you can start your holiday straight away. Please note that beach towels are not provided.
Check-in procedure:
• Guests are met at the airport by Hamilton Island Holiday Home staff (who will be holding a sign with the guest name) and taken to the Front Office.
• The guest will need to fill out a registration card which outlines the Buggy rules and regulations, and are given a brief overview of the Island. Our friendly staff are happy to answer any of the questions you may have about the island or your holiday property.
• Guests are given a map which highlights the way to their holiday property along with the keys
• Hamilton Island Buggy staff give a brief talk and demonstartion on the Golf Buggy: How to operate and all the relevent saftey issues
Check-out procedure:
• Guests are given a letter (delivered to their property) the day prior to their check out which outlines the procedure as seen below:
• Lugguage collection begins at 9 am, thus ensure all luggage is packed at the door. Your luggage will be stored at the Holiday Properties reception desk located adjacent to the airport terminal for your collection
• Guests must be checked out of the property by 10am, the property keys and buggy must be retured to the HIHH Front Office by this time.
• Please note that the property must be clean and tidy upon check out- EG Rubbish must be taken out, no food or rubbish to be in the property, dishes must be clean or a $75 cleaning fee will be issued.
Buggy
One 4 seater buggy is provided with every property and will require a credit card for security. No buggies will be released without a credit card. A Condition Report and Operating Demonstration will be conducted on the buggy with you when you arrive. All buggies require operators to have a current full drivers licence.
Any repairs or replacement costs incurred due to damage while in your care is your responsibilty.
Before you arrive
• Please advise us of your method of arrival and arrival time details. This will assist us in endeavouring to have your room ready upon your arrival – particularly if you are arriving prior to our 2:00pm check-in time.
• If you arriving prior to our 2:00pm check in time, we recommend bringing a day bag with your swimming costume, a change of clothes, sunscreen, a hat and anything else you may need just in case your room is not ready. Lockers, change rooms and shower facilities are available in the lobby of the Reef View Hotel.
• Please make sure your luggage is clearly labelled. Depending on the size of your group, we may need to have porters assist you with transporting you luggage to your property.
• If you're travelling with children then there are a couple of things to be aware of:
o Cots and highchairs are provided free of charge - just let us know at the time of booking if required Clownfish Club sessions should be booked upon arrival to avoid missing out on child placements
o Babysitting can be arranged through our Clownfish Club
o Strollers, books and toys can be hired through the Clownfish Club Credit card details will be required on arrival.
• All major credit cards are accepted (please note that credit card transaction fees apply). EFTPOS is available at hotel receptions, and ATM's are available at the Resort Centre, Marina Village and Reef View Hotel foyer.
• If scuba diving is on the agenda, please bring along a medical certificate, or if more advanced, proof of diving certification is required.

Exclusive - Kids eat free
Exclusive to Hamilton Island Homes - Children aged 0 - 12 years are included in our Kids Eat Free Program (Please refer to conditions below). This program is only available to guests who have booked their holiday through Hamilton Island Holiday Homes.
Participating restaurants: Manta Ray Cafe, Steakhouse, Sails, Pool Terrace and Hamilton Island Wildlife Park (Breakfast only)
Conditions: Available to children aged between 0 - 12 years old only, Children must be wearing the supplied identification wrist band at the time of dining. Without a wrist band you will not be eligible for the Kids Eat Free Program, Must be accompanied by an adult dining with the children, Available at participating restaurants only
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Deposit Policy: A deposit equivalent to 20% of the total booking value will be taken from the provided credit card within the next two (2) business days.
2. Final Payment Policy: The balance of your accommodation must be paid 7 days prior to your arrival. At this time, our reservations specialist will contact you in regards to payment if not previously settled. To pre-pay your balance, please contact our specialist on 13 7333 (+61 2 9433 0444).
3. All prices are quoted in AUD and include 10% GST. The following credit card surcharges apply: 3.36% Amex & 1.25% Visa/MasterCard. Credit card fees are non-refundable.
4. Minimum Stay: A minimum 4 nights stay applies for all reservations (3 nights in low season). See below for further Festive Season minimum stay resections.
5. 7 Night discount (Excluding Festive season): Stays of 7+ nights receive a discount calculated at 10% off the standard 4-night rate, calculated daily, then rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. Discounts will not be applied on bookings incorporating the festive season.
6. Maximum Occupancy: Bookings will not be accepted if the maximum number of guests exceeds the stated capacity of the property. It is responsibility of the guest to ensure that the property meets the capacity requirements of their travelling party prior to booking..
7. Check-in time 2 p.m. Check-out time is 10 a.m. Arrival and departure details are required at the time of booking.

9. Buggy Terms and Conditions: Please be aware that as a condition of use, a $1500 bond is required when collecting your buggy, as well as a full and current drivers license. The bond can be paid by credit card or cash and will be refunded in full if the buggy is returned with no damage. Any repairs or replacement costs incurred due to damage whilst in your care is your responsibility.
10. In the event that the property you have selected is removed from the Hamilton Island Enterprises Holiday Letting Pool you will be notified and we will endeavour to offer you suitable alternative accommodation options. Should an alternate Holiday Property option not be suitable for the period of your stay then you have the right to cancel your accommodation without penalty.
11. Hamilton Island Holidays recommends for all guests booked with us to take out any necessary travel insurance to cover cancellations.
12. Holiday Home availability may change at any time and bookings are only confirmed once a deposit / full payment has been processed and your receive written (email) confirmation subject to these booking terms & conditions.
13. Cancellation Policy (excludes Festive Season bookings)
1. Notice of any cancellation, amendment or reduction in the daily number of reserved rooms must be provided in writing to Hamilton Island Holidays.
2. Cancellations received outside of 14 days prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee.
3. Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value at the contracted rate.
4. Cancellations received within 7 days of arrival, ‘No Shows’ and/or ‘Early Departures’ will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value at the contracted rate. i.e: penalty will equal the total booking value.
Modify or Cancel your Booking
